Oblong Industries powers dynamic workspace for Inmarsat

Inmarsat, the pioneer of mobile satellite communications, has launched iMPACT!, a collaborative workspace at its London office, incorporating Oblong Industries’ Mezzanine immersive visual collaboration system. Inmarsat required a disruptive collaboration solution that enabled them to present complex solutions to clients in a vibrant and interactive way. Inmarsat approached IT consultants MBA IT and was introduced to Oblong’s Mezzanine via a demonstration at the company’s Shoreditch Experience Centre.

The room features a display wall of 55’’ monitors tiled in a 4×2, providing an expansive space on which to share ideas and content, from video footage to live data feeds. Also installed is a projection table built by Projection Artworks and driven by Mezzanine that enables participants to use it as an active workspace.
